Hellowsies
i'm trying to set up an effect so that when i hold down a drum pad on my MPK, my filter is on, and when i release it, its off.
At present, when I assign the pad to the effect on / off button, i press it once and its on, I press it again and its off.
I've had a good read around and some people have achieved similar stuff by using the MPK mini editor and setting the drum pads to toggle instead of momentary. I've tried this and the result is that I have to press the pad twice to switch it on, and twice to switch it off.
As the pad surely sends midi on / off data, is there not a simple way to assign the off command to switch the effect off?
cheersies.

Re: Akai mpk mini - momentary effects using pads
hello ,
To achieve this, you have to set the pads to CC mode (and momentary of course) not Midi notes
(that's exactly how i'm using my MPK and my LPD8)

And now that CC mode is on, the wet/dry of other effects which have not been assigned controllers are jumping around?!?
