Delay

Post by Nevar » Fri Feb 15, 2013 3:00 am

Hi all,

I was wondering how do I put delay (audio effect) in Live? I wanted to add some delay to my Keys.

Thanks

Do you want a positive delay or a negative delay?

What's the difference between the two?

A positive delay adds frequencies, whereas a negative delay uses phase inversion to remove frequencies. In this way, it's very similar to a negative reverb.

Also, just as a positive delay produces signal after the original input, a negative delay provides it BEFORE the signal.

Led Zeppelin used this on Whole Lotta Love.
