These files are the uncompyled sources from original Python MIDI Remote Scripts by Ableton.



The first purpose to publish these scripts is the stimulation of developers/hackers/musician/digital artist imagination.
Indeed, you can now code your own behaviors for PUSH, for instance

I guess this should make it possible to modify these scripts for use with other controllers than what they were made for, right?
I would love to change the push script or the apc one to work with my nanokontrol 2 based diy pedal board.
Also I would like to mod one of those scripts to use with my steinberg cmc-pd.

The share has been done for that purpose.

Especially, I'd probably modify my PUSH scripts in order to add some features and remove some others...

If you're interested in Python (i.e. developing custom scripts, etc.) but don't know where to start, there is a 7 week course on Coursera starting April 13th

Can't vouch for the quality, but it's a good place to start
