It looks like a video artist having a lot of fun with Adobe After Effects.

You know what I love.
Teaser videos.They really are great.
I see a teaser video with some close cropped, 3d rendered "stuff" blerps about mysteriously, some 3d waveforms and a bit of lensflare, meanwhile the hip music genre of the day plays in the background.
I assume I am meant to tell all my social media friends "mystery blerp is possibly coming!! At some time soon-ish, possibly"
hell, it surely must be a viral hit. Otherwise what are the marketing dept doing all day in there?
An indeterminate amount of time later a product is released and there's a 1% chance I make any connection at all between the video and BlerpMaster V3 . All these companies may as well be advertising each others projects for all I can keep track of it he correlation between teaser and released product.

They also sent out a vague email last week about some new synth plug-in. I don’t think this is related. I think this means big things for Komplete 9, which is great because they’ve pretty much been milking it with the last 4 or 5 versions with the same plug-ins slightly upgraded and with a ton of presets and sample libraries. They probably determined there were no more presets to be created or sounds to sample with the existing lineup.

I really hope Komplete 9 does something different

How to hype a New (or updated) Product by NOT showing anything! lol!

How'd you find out? Does it have its own sequencer now?

Visually NI is stuck in the wrong decade.
Wonder if they'll ever fix their website.

Aww, I like NI's website. And I'm looking forward to Battery 4, if this is that, so be it. My last Komplete purchase was v6. I could use some new toys, but I still haven't mastered the old ones. I use Guitar Rig 4 in a live and studio setting and can't see needing more. I don't even know what's improved in GR5.

I agree it looks likely to be Battery, or something like that. Releasing a DAW isn't necessary, and most NI fans are even against the idea.

They did. I discovered this when it worked on my iPad. So off to the desktop I went and removed NI from my Flash whitelist, and there it was: A functional site that zoomed properly, and videos with MPEG4 variants[1]!
Switch off your Flash and try it. Of course, the design still sucks a bit, and the forum's quickmenu still pops up at a seemingly random location.
[1]YMMV. I have a browser extension which loads alternatives from YouTube, so MPEG4 and other video formats get priority over Flash. The embedded Flash is just loading a video from some other URL anyway.

I saw this as well. they would be stupid to put out a DAW. I hated the work flow on the MAschine software and I assume their version of a DAW would be similar.
Did anyone see the release for a new synth as well?
