Yep... Pretty sure I mentioned that 3 posts above.RDP wrote:Regarding multi-SOLO: I found another similar thread and it noted to deactivate Exclusive SOLO in the preferences, and hey, it work's a charm. Now I can Multi-Solo just by pressing as many solo buttons I want. Now exactly like an analog mixers behavior. Very happy to find this.
Thanks,

Re: Live 9 mackie control
@ryder17,
I hope you don't find this rude but would you be able to email me the Mackie XT settings you mentioned earlier please?
The links to them don't work anymore
Thanks in advance.

Re: Live 9 mackie control
Sorry to bring up an old post, but I would love to get ahold of the Mackie Control scripts posted here. Can anyone send my way? I'm at justin.delay@gmail.com.

Awesome, thank you so much!
Re: Live 9 mackie control
Hey there! Simon from Ableton here.
We've developed a fix for the issue where the display would only show a dotted line and not parameter information, which we hope to deploy in the 9.1.3 beta.
Since you guys are running into the issue, we thought we'd share the fixed scripts with you first (a sort of pre-beta!).
Please find the latest script here:
https://downloads.ableton.com/support/M ... er_Fix.zip
Installation instructions:
Step 1.
Download and unzip the file. It will unzip into the following 3 folders: MackieControl, MackieControl_Classic & MackieControlXT
Leave this folder structure as is!
Step 2.
Navigate to the folder “MIDI Remote Scripts”. You'll find this here:
Windows:
C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live x\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts\ on Windows 7 and Vista and C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ableton\Live x\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts\ on Windows XP.
Mac:
Locate the “Live.app” file here: Macintosh HD/Applications/Live x.x.x./Live.app
Right click on the “Live.app” file and choose “Show Package Contents”
Open the folder: Contents/App-Resources/MIDI Remote Scripts/
Please refer to the following knowledge base article for further information on how to access hidden folders on Windows and Mac OS X.
Step 3.
With Live closed, move the folders you extracted in Step 1 to the MIDI Remote Scripts folder, replacing the existing Mackie folders (you can back them up first to be safe if you like).
Step 4.
Start Live and try it out!
We hope this helps! Please let us know if you find any further bugs with the scripts. We'll keep an eye on this thread and the link will remain active until we officially deploy it in the 9.1.3 beta.
Big thanks! Have a productive weekend

Re: Live 9 mackie control
Hi Simon. I installed the new scripts in the right placed having removed the old ones. There doesn't seem to be any change in the dotted line behavior. It's still the same.
Re: Live 9 mackie control
hey nightscope! Sorry for the delayed reply, was out of the office at the weekend!
We'll take another look here, what OS version are you on and which of the Mackie devices are you using?
Can anyone else verify that the behavior with the dotted lines is not solved?
Cheers guys, appreciate it!

Re: Live 9 mackie control
i'm running Live 9.1.1 on OS X 10.9.2 with a MCU Pro.
i haven't tested every single function recently, but i just tested all the basic mixer functions and they are working fine: faders, sends, panning, device control, fader flips, metering, fader banks, solos, mutes...
