I updated to 9 yesterday but some of the presets that were in 8 are not in the default 9 install - in particular there are no Drum racks and Electric is missing all banks apart from bass and piano/keys. Anyone know what has happened to them or how to install them again? There may be more missing, not sure yet.

didnt see this. i just posted a similar thread. all the Drum racks with te TR kits etc are not there.

The Electric presets are but the rack presets are not working properly, I think they need to be reinstalled, and ideally I would like all my Electric presets in the same place too (ie under the instruments tab) rather than have to go to several places to get them. Also this is no good for newcomers to Live, 9 should ship with them all.

Yes but they should also be in the Live 9 install - otherwise anyone who doesn't have Live 8 misses out. Seems like quite a lot of content is missing actually going by what is in the Live 8 library compared to 9.

Aren't those missing Drum Rack presets under the Drums category? I think that was said in the Live 9 beta Forum.

And maybe those Electric presets are also in some other categories? I can't confirm this because I installed Live 9 after formatting my system...

I have zero under the drums category. Not a single thing.

I mean not under Categories -> Instruments -> Drum Racks but under Categories -> Drums

Strange. I have no presets under the Drum Rack category but all my presets for the Drum Racks are under the Drum category (still don't know if I miss some presets though).

Well I'm guessing a lot is missing, the full installer with all content for Live 8 suite was over 2GB, the L9 installer is under 700MB

Just reinstalled Live 8 from the full installer - now I have my drum kits back. But these should all be in the L9 installer too for people installing fresh.
