Side by side configuration

I've been attempting to install 9 on my computer and can't seem to find the right C++ library to get the program to start, using windows eight. Error says side by side config is wrong.
Any suggestions?

I believe you have to install both the C++ 2008 32 bit and 64 bit redistributable executables. I believe I saw this in another thread (if you are running 64 bit?). But may want to search the forums a bit more, I don't think they'll cause any issues though by installing both of them.
