Features you need to play Live..... Live... Any Suggestions?

ADC/PDC.... "Device chain".... Without them we're just fighting with a few
little things all the time to try and play live.

1.

Also I'm starting to think that it would be good if it added another level....

If each clip had an extra bit to it.... Like each clip is it's own sampler....

but not....

Each clip has an effects area, while the track has it's own for all clips in it.

So..... I can have 1 clip which includes an EQ3.... It takes no CPU unless
the clip is playing, just sits there as "the settings for this clip".

While the next clip has totally different settings and different effects....

This would have to be limited in someway tho..... Well maybe not..... but I
could see it getting out of hand.... Maybe limiting it to Live built-in effects
only or something.... Just to keep it simple....

I come from programming and database design.... With my databases I
really like to have everything multi-leveled, so for example if I'm designing
something for 1 user.... I make it a multi-user system.... so in 6 months
when they say "we want to make it multi-user".... I don't have to start from
scratch..... So with Live.... I'd kinda like effects in clips, in tracks, in sends,
in buses, on the roof, over the road...... Wherever there is space....

2.

The ability to edit the params of effects inside the sends from within the
clip envelope...... This one I know has issues, cause you can't have 2 clips
editing them at once without mess..... Tho maybe good mess....

Forgive me if any of this is possible in Live4. I use Live3.

I am still on my Meta Clip idea .. where you can temporarilly 'pack up' a chunk of vertical clips into a Metaclip. This is to save space on follow action clips - which take up too much space seeing as you are most likely to only trigger the start of a follow action group.

I do wish that we could record the automation of insert effect parameters (IE track effects) into clips as we play live. This really lets my live session stuff down right now, making a beat up out of effect parameter twiddling is cool - EG: grain delay on a beat - twiddle grains , say 'yep thats it', leave it to loop, crowd goes wild!
But in 'Live' Live mode .. Session , it doesnt work!
well not without a 3rd party app and some over complex pissing about anyway. Surely it could be easy?
