Browser 9 - Individual drum hits?

Post by Pandamonium » Sat Mar 09, 2013 9:21 am

Maybe i'm missing something here, would love to be corrected and told the new way to do it, but.. In Live 8 Browser it was great to be able to go through different drums sounds grouped by kick, snare etc. You could for example open a drum rack and replace individual pieces easilly. In Live 9 browser they are all grouped into one big list, hard to tell what is what. How is this better than Live 8 browser? Doesn't even seem to be an option to group them yourself (I think factory folder is read only) Please fix Ableton, this feels unfinished!

Thanks Funken, very helpful! Would still prefer it if the raw samples and adg files were separate. Also, it seems all the clips in the browser are all lumped into one category.
