Beginning of rendered master is unmastered

Post by randycolby » Sat Mar 16, 2013 7:25 pm

Maybe I'm missing something obvious, or else maybe it has something to do with the now unavailable Plug-in buffer size setting in CPU preferences. I'm not sure which. Just finished my first track in Live 9 and mastered it, using the same protocol that I go about in Live 8. Problem is the very beginning of the rendered WAV in my mastering setup is not mastered for split second at the beginning of the file. There appears to be some sort of delay before my mastering rack kicks in, but I can't seem to fix it. The only workaround I've found is to move everything down and leave a blank space at the beginning of the track. Then my final master has a blank space at the beginning that I have to go into Sound Forge and remove. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Or are you able to reproduce this problem?
