Video import is not working

Hello. Does anybody have the problem importing video into live 9? Seems strange, but the same .mov file imports well into live 8, but not 9. I've tried almost every codec for quicktime files, but non of them worked

I had almost the opposite problem. Videos would start to load in Live 8 and then Crash it but I'm not having any video issues in 9.

I had the same problem, but... I have figured out I have to include the folder where the file is in ableton folders and than drag it from there, not from windows explorer

Install the free Perian codec package. Solved.

I use CoreAVC as part of my video editing suite and I have a tool that converts any format video I get into anything I need so I tend to get uncompressed mov files from editors and then recompress to a small size mov file. Seems to always work just fine in live 9
