Success with J-Bridge in Live 9 64-bit
Just thought this might be of interest to people here.
I finally got around to switching over to a 64 bit setup with Live 9 and J-bridge for a handful of plug-ins that aren't available in 64 bit (in some cases only for Mac).
So far I've been very impressed / surprised to find how relatively glitch-free J-bridge is operating.
I have J-bridge running inside Live 9 Suite:
-4 instances of Arts Acoustic Reverb that load as Return Channel FX in my template session.
-multiple instances of Sylenth 1
-Sonic Charge Microtonic & Synplant
-Cakewalk Dimension Pro and Rapture (which, incidentally, require a workaround to even get running on OSX at all, 32 bit or otherwise).
So far, so good. At last I'm taking advantage of my 16 gig RAM! Which is especially important since I use Kontakt and Omnisphere so much.
I think J-Bridge cost me about 15 bucks. Well worth it, as losing the use of AA Reverb and Sylenth would have been very depressing for me, indeed.

Re: Success with J-Bridge in Live 9 64-bit
As much as I miss a few synths, I have to say that I couldn't be bothered any more. Just the way the window didn't pop up automatically when selecting the track and things like that. I decided I'd just let the 32bit go and then be pleasantly surprised when they're back.

Little Endian Spectrumworx doesn't, crashes live instantly.
Re: Success with J-Bridge in Live 9 64-bit
it's working good so far for me too... using a few Waves Renaissance plugs and Arts Acoustic Reverb
besides making my 32 bit plugs work, what i like best about it so far is that way it went out and found the plugs for me rather than making me tell it where they are. that was a pleasant surprise.

++ Jbridge is great.
I don't have a 54 bit compatible laptop, but in the desktop using Digital Performer 64 bit it's flawless.
The only odd thing will be keeping it around for older songs when everyone goes 64 bit, but no real worries.

I installed Jbridge and ran it, and can't get Sylenth1 or any of my other 32 bit VSTs to show up after rescanning. Not sure what the heck I'm missing. The bridged VST's are in a different location than my VST's,so I I moved them over to my Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST folder, with no luck. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm on Mac OSX Mountain Lion. Ableton Live 9.

I have just installed Live 9 64-bit and also a trial of the jbridge.
Does anyone know how i get this working with my 32 bit plugs in LIVE?
The Jbridge page just mentions Sonar? Do i need to place the Jbridge folder in a certain place for the 32 bit plugs to be wrapped?

Unless the demo is fundamentally different than the full version, it should be fairly self-explanatory.
Run jBridger
Step1 : Click "I'll be using a x64 (64bit) host"
Step2 : Click "Create bridging files inside a directory I'll specify"
Step3 : Select the 32-bit .Dll(s) you want to bridge and click OK
Step4 : Select destination directory for bridged files (this should be somewhere inside your 64-bit vst plugins folder.) and click OK
Step5 : Click Re-scan VST folder inside Live's preferences.
Step6: Profit!

^ I believe step 1 is 'Collect Underpants'. Aside from that, everything else seems to be on that list.
