the Beyers are really comfy and the sound engulfs your ears. it might not be very noticeable. it's too bad you can't borrow a set to give em a go.Earwax69 wrote:I kinda want the dt880 pro (250) but I'm afraid I am making a mistake as they are semi-open. That mean I might get bothered by ambiant sound, roomates doing noise, coworkers talking...
I might better take another pair of m50...
you can't go wrong with the M50s, i'm sure you know this... my only beef with those is that if i wear them for an extended period of time the plastic around my ears begins to get hot... honestly though, you shouldn't wear headphones that long to begin with. it was an issue for me when i was flying from San Francisco to Washington DC... i don't fly all the way across the continental US that often though... on the flip side of that argument the M50s fold up and fit in your bag way better... the Beyers are not really a set of cans meant to leave the studio.
you've really put yourself in a win win situation. you're going to have a great set of head phones either way.
