About a year or so back i built an Analogue Synth in Reaktor as part of the 'Sound Design' course i did with Pointblank.

It's a nice synth with some decent presets that i created, and i've just checked the NI user forum for the first time in ages and noticed it's had almost 1000 downloads, with good feedback. Thought i would share it on here as i'm sure it could be put to good use. See below for description etc....

This is my Analogue Synth which i created as part of my Point Blank Sound Design Course. It includes a number of Sound Banks and Snapshots covering Bass, Leads, Pads, Strings, Stabs, Chords & FX. To access snapshots, make sure you choose the instrument rather than the ensemble from the dropdown box directly below the snapshot tab.

This Synth is a great all rounder, perfect for musical stuff as well as the foundations of sound creation, and has a number of FX built into it.

The track below uses a number of sounds & chords created with this instrument.

-3 Oscillators
-Voice Mode + Envelope
-Oscilloscope - see the sound
-Volume and Mute for the Oscillator

-LFO to Pitch

Built In FX:

-Micro Space
-SE-IV Chorus
-Kleinstein Phaser
-Dual Sync Delay
-Frequency Shifter
-Pitch Shifter

Thanks for checking it

I've done a few courses with Pointblank which have generally been pretty good. The Sound Design Course had some really good stuff in it, although i found that too much time was spent on Reaktor. It's also pretty pricey, with their hook being the DVR's (Digital Video Responses - someone basically sends you a video of them reviewing your work). Although the tutor i had for this course in particular was shockingly bad and i ended up complaining.

Saying that, i've done other courses (Deep House/Electronic Music Composition) and had Danny J Lewis & Ski Oakenfull who are absolutely brilliant tutors and put alot of effort into their feedback.
