This link does not work any more, but Michael Norris now has a Spectral Dronemaker and a whole bunch of other spectral effects at

A whole suite of spectral granular effects downloadable for free. Check it out.
BTW the spectral dronemaker has a very nice interaction with Maurizio Giri AKA amazingnoises's Grip effect. Just saying

Thanks for the update on the Michael Norris link.
Adding Spectral Dronemaker to Steve Angstrom's generative techniques (even the simple "plinky plonk world" rack) gives some very pleasant sequences.
I don't have "The Grip", but from the description, it sounds similar to Norris's "Spectral Gate and Hold" (albeit with a vastly simpler UI.)

There's a pretty thorough tutorial in the latest issue of Future Music (the UK mag) as well. May be worth procuring a copy.
