Absolutely. Another aspect in vintage Reggae is that some songs have elements that are REALLY out of tune - I love it.

Not electronic but Today is the day have some pretty crappy sounding albums. The music is definitely there but not the sound.

Anything made with Windows sound shit to me.Apple just sounds crisp and clean. Also anything made in Ableton is awful! Must be mixed down in Logic.

Acid Bath - Pagan Terrorism Tactics and When the kite string pops. Pretty shitty quality : AMAZING music !!!

Really , all that sludge/stoner metal from the 90's seemed almost intentionally shit. Definitely some of my favorite stuff though.

Fudge Tunnel- Creep Diets, comes to mind too.
