Deleting multiple Tracks - Question.

Post by vanhaze » Mon Apr 08, 2013 10:29 am

Ola !

I want to delete multiple Tracks at once in Session View.
So I shift-select multiple tracks in Session View, but then the shortcut Cmd X is not available, to delete all the selected tracks.
When i am in Arrange View, the shortcut Cmd X IS available , to delete multiple tracks at once.

Is this normal behaviour :?:

I am on OS X10.8.3 with Live 9.03b3.

Best,

Rob.

Pretty sure cmd+x is cut.

Surely you can just hit the delete key instead?

Oops, sorry : my bad

I looked at it again and the fault i made was that i wanted to delete ALL tracks in the project.
But that's not possible, so the menu item Cmd X (CUT) was not available, neither did work the keys DELETE or BACKSPACE.
So if you keep at least one track in the project (be it midi , audio or return) when deleting multiple tracks at once,
then Cmd X , Backspace and Delete keys DO work in that case.

Still learning some basic Live stuff .. :D

So "issue" solved.
