Max for Live formant filter crashes Live

Hi there

I downloaded and installed the Point Blank M4L formant filter advertised on the Ableton website here:

It constantly and usually almost instantly crashes Live.

My setup: Live 9.02, Windows 7, M4L.

I have sent a crash report to Ableton.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

That was reported as part of the beta, i suggest you contact point blank as the authors of the device...

Will do. I am not an Ableton basher but methinks Live should not be advertising it on their site if there are known issues with it.

The Finn, i'm getting lots of similar crashes on 9.0.5 with various M4L stock plugins. seems to be a serious flaw with max for live right now which is a pain since i paid for it.

but whenever i think that paid software shouldn't be so bad i remember windows.

There's a very good formant filter made by Robert Henke. Look at Monolake's website.

One of the disappointing things about the Pointblank formant filter is that it is impossible to send them feedback on it. I tried to get support from them, but all that I manage is to get more and more promo literature for dubious looking courses
