Ableton Live 9 doesn't let me drag MP3 files in

I've begun to use Ableton Live 9 recently and I can't figure out why I can't drag a song out of iTunes and into Ableton after putting it on my desktop. I use Windows 8 and I remember being able to do this in Ableton Live 8. I don't have any other audio clips inside of my audio track. Please help!

i used search in ableton forum, what i've come up was that

1.Buy the full version.

2.make sure latest live version and latest quicktime version are installed

then go from there

Yep, same issue here. There was another thread about this from someone a few days ago too. I've been having to copy/paste in the meantime. I sure would like drag and drop back though
