I'd like to see a tutorial on how to setup tabs in a max patch if possible :) I can't wrap my head around it

Are you serious? Have you even ever open a max patch? Do you need a tutorial on how to open a max patch?!
Excuse me, I'm a bit rude. But if you open max and search for tab, you'll find every information you need.

I am dead serious, I already did that before posting hence the "I can't wrap my head around it". Care to walk me through the process since you can decypher that information and I can't? maybe make a "tabs for idiots" tutorial... thanks

Sorry Leoelzein. My reaction was stupid.

A device that creates randomised rhythms - that are somewhat usable.

(I know similar stuff can be done with recording follow actions, and triggering clips with different start points, but another tool would be rad.)

Oscillators. Analogue, wavetable, FM pairs etc.

We already have LFOs and EGs and filters in the standard plugins. Oscillators would let you do modular synthesis in instrument racks which would be cool.

Yes I know you can build them but it would still be cool to have some off the shelf ones.
