i've been working on a project in 9 that was created in 8 and I'm having this weird problem with a VST, specifically sylenth. Occasionally when playing back the track, whatever is coming out of the sylenth will be pitched like 2 octaves higher than it really is. Sometimes stopping and playing the track a few times "resets" it back to normal. Sometimes it won't and I have to restart 9 or the reload the project for it work.

Anyone else experiencing this? I'm not sure if it occurs with other Synth VSTs since sylenth is only one in that set.

First question, is it a legit copy of Sylenth1? I had a similar problem using a cracked copy once.. it wasn't pitched by octaves but did some strange detuning and I think it was Sylenth1's way of telling me to fuck off with my cracked copy

yes it is...update, no solution but this is happening to me again but this time using operator so it leads me to believe its a live 9 bug. with operator, it corrects itself after running through the loop a few times.

no else experimenting this?
