delete unused files
Re: delete unused files
There used to be but it disappeared in Live 8. Unless anyone knows different the best way is to save as a different project, then collect all and save - it should only save the files it needs.
Yes, it would be useful to have it back.

Re: delete unused files
In L7 I use "Manage Files"
It's pretty easy from there.
Does this not exist in L9?

Re: delete unused files
when you are recording a lot, like vox, guit, etc. after a while there is no way to see through the 1000 files manually.
in cubase you would just click "delete unused files" and bamm, its all cleaned up.
should be standard in a professional DAW.
cheers

Re: delete unused files
As mentioned, go to File ->Manage Files, then click on Manage Project. From here you can delete Unused Files.
It's in Live 8 and Live 9 still.
