and while there is still space why not > Mixer > Clip > CC as the first toggle option > then by default Volume/Pan/and active SENDS !!!!

And, while you are at it, you can restore midi clip Orig BPM instead of the needless note range function.

Adding my support for these buttons. I honestly can't make logical sense as to why they removed these.

I wish this little area was configurable, and key-mappable so you can quickly access envelopes. Going into that little menu over and over is tedious. This isn't totally thought through (how to delete, how to save defaults, etc), but it's an idea:

I'll stick to live 8 for little things like this...
I use the transpose and pan buttons everytime, and your ideas about improving the automations' handling is really attractive, I wish ableton to get their shit together and sit back for a few minutes, listening to their valuable userbase...
