+1. And I would ADD more shortcuts to live on the GUI and in the right-click menu and add keyboard shortcuts for things that don't have them yet.
Definitely don't SUBTRACT any shortcuts abes! The whole point about live is speed and workflow, so add more of these simple things rather than taking them away.

don't expect too much... Many things in live 9 are Push "ready"...
but while it is ready for push it is lacking for users!
This post is a well duplicata of one from the live 9 beta forum...
And you know what? it looks like they don't care about this request
bitwig is around the corner

Perhaps they don't know how to justify that blank space...musicfan1616 wrote:+1... and what I REALLY don't get is how a larger company like Ableton can let a thread like this go for 2 pages without a response, whereas a small outfit like U-He can have Urs Heckmann respond to stuff like this at the KVR forum within minutes and almost always within the day...

I completely agree with you; many of the removed features or uncomfortable changes are because of the way Push works, I think there's absolutely no doubt about this, and we could list them and simply explain why this has changed because of that Push function...Hermanus wrote:don't expect too much... But, I can't figure how this blank space has any benefit for Push / how the old buttons would cause any problem to Push.
I know it was on the beta forum. I know they didn't care.
But, at least we'll have someone from Ableton at some point coming to explain this odd idea they had.

My tongue spits english like a frog and my head is currently searching for a comprehensive language.

If they'd used the space for automation/modulation buttons or buttons for macro parameters or, well something, it would be reasonable.

Re: Bring back vol pan and transposition buttons in Clip View
I hate hearing that live made changes like this FOR push users and to hell with the rest of us, Well I own Push and if it was done FOR Push, Ableton has done a piss poor job. Push is only designed for one purpose Super Simple Sequencing of a drum rack. That it that's all it does. To have changed Live FOR this one trick pony leaves the rest of the many functions I depend on Live for subpar.
How can the peeps at Ableton not be pissed off these features don't exist anymore in there after work musical projects. do ableton employees not make music?

Bring it back please.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
