Survey? Really?
Re: Survey? Really?
Every thread eventually turns into a diva thread.
Re: Survey? Really?
Fire the dumb ass that thought it would be a good idea. Or at least include a feedback box so I can tell them to quit wasting resources on this crap and fix the freakin' CPU issues. Idiocy at it's finest....

Survey?
1. You chased away all your long time customers by not listening to their feature requests, and implementing what you yourselves wanted to to implement, that nobody else really cares about.
2. You chased away all your long time customers by hitting us over the head, with your ridiculously expensive upgrade fees.
3. You chased away, whatever was left, of your long time customers with your new and hideous website; that doesn't even link the now unreadable forum on its homepage.
From me you get: Somebody who has owned a license since version five, upgraded to 6, upgraded to 7, didn't upgrade to 8, waited and waited to see what 9 would be, and finally sold his license to somebody else.

Linear Phase has left the building..

Yep, dreadful idea.
So after a while they collate the data and see they have a rating of 3.589. What happens then, send us another form this time asking why?
Each week I get nearer to Studio One...

Thanks for the feedback!CarlSeleborg wrote:Hi guys,
Let me chime in about the survey that we've built into Live 8 and Live 9.
It works like a little 5-star rating system: with 2 clicks, you rate and
send us the result, or you can dismiss it with 1 click. At the moment, it
does not appear again if you've answered or dismissed it, but we may decide
to show it again in future versions. It does not pop up in a window, but
rather shows up in the lesson view at startup, meaning it is non-blocking
(if you simply close the lesson view without answering, it will reappear at
the next start).
Cheers,
Carl
best regards

+1, and interesting to hear from someone who, I'm assuming, was a partner with Ableton on some level.mike@TrackTeam Audio wrote:They seem like a completely different company than they used to be
I'm on 8.2.6. This seems like a ridiculously good reason to stay put.

Re: Survey? Really?
This is purely based on being a longtime user ( since v1.5 ) and seeing lots of recent changes...What did it for me was the way they handled user feedback in the beta this time around.polyslax wrote:+1, and interesting to hear from someone who, I'm assuming, was a partner with Ableton on some level.mike@TrackTeam Audio wrote:They seem like a completely different company than they used to be

Re: Survey? Really?
So yeah I just spent another 5 hours working on my Live set and loving every minute of it.
Re: Survey? Really?
Seems now they're doing a detailed email survey: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/music-co ... urvey.html

I am seriously disappointed that the survey doesn't offer the option to rate in half star increments.... [sarcasm]
Re: Survey? Really?
Might be a little annoying but I think their biggest mistake was giving you guys another issue to bitch and moan about..
Click out of it and get on with your work, or give them a bad rating out of spite.. Either way, if it pops up on the right sidebar like the lessons do then you really have nothing to worry about.
