tips for using the online manual...

for Google advanced search put site:https://www.ableton.com/en/manual after your search words and...

to avoid scrolling around for what you searched use this Google Chrome extension: Google Quick Scroll

If you have an iPhone at your disposal, email yourself the PDF and open it in iBooks.
I have PDFs on my phone ranging from Live to Massive to EMX-1 to my condenser mic.
You could always have it printed out too. Lol. It'll cost you around $30 and have a furniture dolly to haul the big bastard around with you!

I have converted the live 9 manual into kindle format. Am I allowed to re-distibute it??

This is effin awesome. Thank god. I've always felt like there should be a "rtfm" button for forums, where you can quickly and easily cite and link to the manual. Having it as an online resource makes that possible. Yay!

i am not familiar with that file formant; however, the Kindle is quite familiar with .pdf... no conversion required.

PDF is whack on e-readers... It's cool if you're using a tablet

I converted it into .mobi format....... Not perfect but it does the trick, all the links work and whatnot
