How to go back to previous version?
How to go back to previous version?
This is definitely the final straw. I will no longer be producing music in Ableton Live. It fucking auto-updated to a new version and now a projet that I was trying to export for a big gig tonight is completely fucked up. I need to go back to the previous 9.0.2 version and get my projects out of this joke of a program.
What is the safest way to do this?

Re: How to go back to previous version?
There are instructions for uninstalling on the main site. Then load up the old version. You should be fine but, yeah. That's a pain in the ass.

and turn auto-update off in the prefs!
Re: How to go back to previous version?
I would never rely on auto update. It seems to only work when Abes releases an update with more bugs.fishmonkey wrote:and turn auto-update off in the prefs!
I will never turn it back on.

Same here, Ableton just updated and now my live set is fucked just one day before a show. Wish me luck.
