Its like any other midi vst. You create a midi track, drop the arp on it. Then create another track with what ever vst/instrument/etc you want on it. Change the routing on that track to take its midi input from the track with cream on it, and then on the second drop down box select cream. Then enable record on the track with cream so midi gets routed in to it and thats it

I can not get too many Arps.

This is a little different, but there does seem to be some issues using this in Live. Randomly skipping beats & stuttering/doubling notes, even in a simple pattern.

I hope these issues will be fixed in next update.

Got this to work. Apparently only works if you draw notes in it's midi clip. Playing live through it causes delay basically making it unusable. Nice idea though..

Kirnu was buggy as hell, wonder how good this release is.

I'm a happy owner of Kirnu Cream. It feature 4 parallel layers, each one with its own settings and outputting notes in different MIDI channels, it would be a multitimbric step arpeggiator very powerful.
BUT... There is a problem with Ableton Live since it is not possible to use this multitimbric feature, since a Live midi track CANNOT send different MIDI channels to other tracks. This is a big limit: it seems that Ableton Live converts all MIDI channels to 1 internally, consequently Ableton's MIDI engine doesn't allow multichannel management internally :( . I hope that this big restriction will be fixed in next releases of Ableton Live. This is very important to me and many other users.

Hope springs eternal. But who knows. We'll be getting dual monitors soon too...

Its been that way forever and requested many many times since this greatly hinders many vsts functionality, I wouldnt hold my breath for it

Wondering if Bitwig will have a better midi routing system?

hopefully find out tomorrow, the NDA was lifted on the beta testers and a few have been spilling the beans over on kvr. One of them was asked if it supports multitimbral midi routing and he said he would check it out
