64-bit Issue Resolution?
64-bit Issue Resolution?
Quick;
I currently have Ableton 9 64-bit. And I'm sure everyone is aware of the 32-bit VST issue in a 64-bit version. I've tried using Jbridge, but I'd prefer a functioning fix that's released by Ableton. I can't use Nexus or Sylenth. I'm at a standstill in creating new music. Any known fixes? Any word on whether or not Ableton is working on a default bridge? Or do I have to rollback to 8?

Sylenth 2.2 has a 64 bit version. Free upgrade.
Re: 64-bit Issue Resolution?
Isn't Nexus also 64bit?
"Version 2.3.0 brought the much-anticipated 64-bit version of Nexus2. Other improvements include enhanced performance and a new photo-realistic look for the GUI."

Re: 64-bit Issue Resolution?
according to the Abes there will never be a native bit bridge (from the above posts it sounds like you don't need one anyway).

I don't think it does...foetus666 wrote:Isn't Nexus also 64bit?
I just switched back to 32, because all the bridges would lag up my computer.
Ableton REALLY needs to fix this, but I doubt it will happen for awhile... if at all.

Re: 64-bit Issue Resolution?
AFAIK, Abes have explicitly said they are not going to be making a bridge.
So I wouldn't hold my breath.

There no plans to implement our own 64-32-bit plug-in bridge.

Nexus2 comes in 32/64 bit (and it came out in 2008, the 64 bit version came out in late 2011)...

Re: 64-bit Issue Resolution?
Sooo a translation of the original post should go something like...
"Hi guys, I have a pirated version of ableton. I pirated some plugins, but they don't work with my pirated ableton. I can't find a way to pirate Jbridge, so I'm hoping ableton will come out with a bridge that I can subsequently pirate and thus use my pirated plugins."

If he's got a pirated 9 I'd be pretty impressed. I doubt that's going to be floating around for a while yet. Maybe I just don't know how these things work these days but I thought it usually took them a while to crack new software?

the crack was available a few days after the release ;-/SuburbanThug wrote:If he's got a pirated 9 I'd be pretty impressed. I doubt that's going to be floating around for a while yet. Whhhhhaaaat? There's a price that comes with going legit (600 to upgrade to Suite) but it does feel a bit better.
Re: 64-bit Issue Resolution?
..also the pirated Live and Push don't get on.. they won't even shake hands and make up, and you can't pirate a Push
Re: 64-bit Issue Resolution?
@infernal.machine Sorry, I actually bought 8 for the free upgrade to 9. I now upgraded Syleth, finally. See how this works...
