I cannot accept the current direction Ableton is taking. It seems that all the best coders have left. Or something. Things like this never happened before.
Here's hoping that they release Bitwig soon so that no more of my hardware gets affected. Jesus!
You win the internet, but just for today.
LOL omg this forum is not completely dead after all ....

It often puzzles me, other peoples pain being the muse of others.

Hey, didn't mean to laugh at your pain. So you know, if a stable program is very important to you it's best to wait until others test out updates before you do. Most regular posters on this board know to expect issues with brand new software and I imagine can't help but laugh at less experienced people sometimes. I for one didn't realize you were in a dire situation.

Anybody knows if autoupdate will work from Live 9.0.3 to 9.0.4?
I had no problems with 9.0.3 that´s why i didn´t went back to 9.0.2 as suggested by Ableton. Had Live 9.0.3 open for sime time but after closing and opening it´s still Live 9.0.3, so i am not sure if auto-update is working coming from 9.0.3.

You can click on help and select "check for updates" if it's not auto-updating.

so how is this release? 2 months since 9 came out. Is it already stable enough to start some serious production? I am still on live8

This issue has been going on since 9.0.2
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=193555
Ableton has lost ALL external MIDI clock sync funtionality. Any external sequencer (either it be a drum machine or even another computer running Ableton) running as a "master" into Ableton will crash the "slave" instance of Ableton running. Its depressing & incredibly aggrevating. It has seriously ruined my setup that I have been running successfully error free for YEARS with every other version of Live I've owned since v6. Oh & Albeton refuses to sufficiently address the issue regardless of my past crash reports sent & forum rants. BUT HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEW DISCO SKIN??!?!? HOLY FKN HELL ITS INCREDIBLE - FORGET MY SHIT DOESNT WORK ANYMORE THIS SKIN IS AMAZING!!!! AS LONG AS I DON'T HIT PLAY I CAN STARE AT IT FOR HOURRRRSSSSSSS

Live 9.0.4 32-bit crashed when trying to open sets I've saved using 9.0.1 and 9.0.2. I have sent in crash reports. I can still open them in 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 thankfully.
The "can't kill the Ableton Live XXX.exe process" from memory also still exists, but at least it doesn't take more than 5 minutes to finally crash out.

I cannot believe what I am hearing. This bug has been in Ableton Live for at least 3 years and they still have not sorted it out
