Adding energy to an EDM track

Post by justchris86 » Mon Jun 03, 2013 8:54 pm

So i dont know if this is a stupid question so please bare with me lol

We are working on this kind of tech house progressive track (Think sort of like LRAD style) just dropping into something very basic and simple.

But once it drops it seems to suck everything out of the track.

Is there anything we can do to add some excitement? Hihats maybe?
not sure. anyways let me know if you can help!
thanks guys!

Dancing girls?
There are like 100 things to make it more "exciting", from tweaking the effects/sounds as you go along, to adding subtle new layers.
Or you can just let me remix it.
