Im trying to make a song in live 9 and have been fiddling around with some of the pre-built instruments. I'm trying to make a build up using the Minor to Major Lead Synth (Operator>Synth Lead>Minor to Major Lead.adg) around 17 bars long at a tempo of 120. My problem is that the envelope's attack only maxes out at a limit of 20 seconds, and I need about 30 seconds. What can I do to stretch that same dramatic buildup for the full 30 seconds, without getting it to repeat the envelope 20 seconds in?
I'll provide a sample so you can hear what I'm experiencing:

Any help goes much appreciated. I'm still new at this whole thing.
Operator Envelope Question
Re: Operator Envelope Question
Find the parameters it changes, set Attack to 0. Then automate the Sustains in Arrangement View.
Re: Operator Envelope Question
This is exactly what I needed. With a little trial and error, I got it exactly how I needed. Thank you!yur2die4 wrote:Find the parameters it changes, set Attack to 0. Then automate the Sustains in Arrangement View.

Re: Operator Envelope Question
I'm glad you figured it out, because I sure did not. Seems like longer than 20 sec on the attack in a no brainer. I recorded 16 bars of operator, and cannot do a straight-line rise over the time. Tried automating initial peak, sustain, and they don't take a diagonal line anyway. It's all square automation.

Re: Operator Envelope Question
You can also use the global Time knob (on the left of the tone and volume knobs, bottom right panel of operator) to stretch.
