Ableton 9 - rendered Wav problems (distortion ect)

Hey guys

So i have been getting problems exporting my tunes ever since upgrading to ABleton 9.

I have been using Ableton for a couple of years now and NEVER had issues like this before.

1. Occasionally the first beat of my track is quieter than the rest. ALmost as if the limiter kicks in slightly late. I seem to work around this by shunting the entire tune off the start so there is a slight gap. However even when doing this i had th issue once

2. The biggest issue for me is distortion. Occasioanlly my exported wavs are heavily distorted. And i dont mean musical distortion. It sounds more like a "lack of cpu" distortion. A constant glitch running throughout. My only workaround is to export again... and again.. untill it exports a good copy.Maybe its beacuse the finished track uses HEAVY cpu?But then my question is why didnt this happen in ABleton 8

3. This may well have transpired by trying to fix problem 2. I changed the export settings... but only turning off dither, and making it 24bit (instead of 16bit) - and then the client i sent my wav to said it wouldnt open in his media players. Just would give him an error. It only opened in his ableton. This is a client i been working with for years and never had this issue before

Thanks in advance for any help :-)

I am having the same issue with point 2. My stems have now gone back and forth from mastering 3 times because random stems keep mixing Down as one long lock of distortion. Help!
