The package is just Max projects and patches. They will work on Windows.
it's a dmg file though that can't be read natively on windows... odd that there isn't a zip too if its just patches....

Hmm, and now that I think about it there are externals in the package for the Mira objects. It's no secret that Max has always been a Mac centric environment. It was created on Macs and the Windows version wasn't developed until around 2003. I thought they would be a little more inclusive with this though. They don't seem to be replying about it over at their forum.

@3dot: the title wasn't that big of a deal

Perhaps I should say "will be" , "should be" or "could be" amazing....
Haven't quite worked out some glitches in my system yet....

Do live.gain and live.meter work for you ? All the others do but not those ones. I second the idea on the max forum to have a Mira mode like patching and presentation modes.

Not a Mira user, obviously.

But you're not a Max user either right? This is mostly geared toward pure Max at the moment, but I'm confident they will get the M4L support nailed down. I've created a few test M4L devices for Mira and there are some glitches that you don't get with Max standalone. But Cycling 74 are badasses, they'll figure it out.

I also noticed that there are some objects that have the 'm' in the browser indicating they should be compatible but aren't, ezdac~ for one.

The list at the bottom of this page shows the current supported objects:

http://cycling74.com/products/mira/

I asked over there if ezdac~, and by extension other objects with the 'm' that aren't working, would be supported in the future but got no reply. My assumption is that they will eventually be supported.

EDIT: live.meter~ shows up in Mira but will not update when given signal.

Then you don't have Max.

Cycling 74 has now confirmed that there is no Windows version yet but that they are working on it and should have the Mira externals ported for Windows "in the coming weeks."
