Aren't you watching the keynote??

:x

Of course I am. Still nothing I NEED. :x

The price of FREE is going to make it dangerous if I toss too many back at home, though. That makes the upgrade way too easy. :x

So who is going to bite the bullet and tell us if it works?

Lol :)

I plan on updating in the next few days. I'll let you know how it goes.

My Hardware (and software)
2011 21" iMac (the low end one)
NI Audio 2
mAudio Oxygen 49
Novation Launchpad
Korg Nanopad 2
Korg Nanocontrol
Behringer BCR2000
Live 8.4something Suite
Live 9 Suite
Live 9.1 beta Suite

Let me know if you want a status report on any of those specific devices

I also have a 2011 MBP, but I don't plan on upgrading that one until I'm more confident in Mavericks.
Tim Tilberg - Duluth, MN | SoundCloud - Arsenal
2011 13" MBP w/8GB ram | Live 9 Suite, Reason 6.5, FXPansion DCAM/Etch/Maul, Izotope Ozone 5

Do we think the issue would be with software or hardware or both? I mainly use software so if I was without hardware it wouldnt be the end of the world. (That being said my audio card MUST work still)

I might be willing to gamble tonight and see what happens after I master a couple of tunes.

I think the issues are going to be more on the software side. I have way too many third party plug-ins to just blindly go for it and hope for the best. I didn’t upgrade Lion to Mountain Lion on my music Mac until Logic Pro X came out…because Apple forced you to upgrade to Mountain Lion before it would even let you purchase it.

Downloading now. :)

The 9.1 betas have mentioned Mavericks fixes, so Ableton is actively working on it FWIW.

Do you have both 9 regular and 9.1 beta?

Max 6 users are being advised not to upgrade.

They also say that Live 9/M4L is working.

yeah good luck T.

[nis] from Abes HQ posted this link that went to a page with this questionable verbiage on it:
Note that older versions than Live 8.4.2 will not work flawlessly in OS X 10.9.
what does that mean? does Live 8.4.2 work flawlessly on a Mac?
Versions older than Live 9.1 (i.e. Live 9.0 - 9.0.6) will not work flawlessly on OS X 10.9
but 9.1 will work flawlessly!! Yes!
