it's 1 hour long and quite a large file. Cable modems recommended.
Radio interview from 25 October 2002. WDET-FM 101.9 Detroit
Taped during the Liz Copeland show. http://www.audiointerference.com
Special thanks to: Liz Copeland and Clark Warner for making it happen.
And the anonymous taper who provided the recording.....

Just listening now, thanks for the link. Most surprising was to see Kooky up here-sorry to hijack the thread but, any future releases planned? I still play lots of old Kooky records, esp. 'Bottomless', 'Peaking, China', of course the album- love 'em and they still sound 'what the heck...?' Hahahaha, whatever...thanks mate!

Hello ipimps and bitches,
It wasn't a 30 minute remix. It was one 20 minute take that was intended to be edited down. In fact, it was cut down to a releasable 6:30 minutes. However, Marc was saying that he preferred the slow build up of the 12:00 minute version.
Also, the mix was done live to DAT with nothing done in arranging mode. All the moves were done spontaneously and the intention was to cut the final mix down. You could easily spend lots of time arranging a perfect length mix in arrangement mode and not have to spend any time editing. Sometimes I do that, sometimes I don't. There are no rules to getting the end result.
However, it shouldn't matter how long or how many takes and passes are recorded if a finished edit turns out to be a great remix.
