Does GROUPING tracks introduce latency?

Should I group or reroute a track do you think? Is there any difference in latency?

You know what I'm sure there is a technical answer to this (and one of the resident Ableton gurus may chime in about that) but if you don't notice a difference personally then just go with your preference.

that's where my head space is on this too. i was looking at the question yesterday...

i would wager on the groups, no.

with the sends/routing (within Live not external routing)the answer is probably technically yes, but audibly not even close.

i.e. some crazy number like 0.000000042 ms

I've seen this several times before - It does on Live 8.(not sure about live 9 if there has been any improvement)..

And it shouldn't.. IMO... its clearly a bug/flaw

One thing tho - there were third party plugins involved on some of the grouped track, which may also have been a factor...

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. IIRC the reason for the delay on sends was to do w being able to cause feedback loops.
