Djing and the master tempo...

Post by BigRedCat » Wed May 04, 2005 5:24 pm

What do you guys playing live with live set your master tempo at? I am working on a deep prog house mix so I set it around 130. Do you change the tempo at all during the set or just let all your tracks warp to that? My last track is slow, so that one I just let run unwarped.

i change mine all the time but i don't think there's a right answer to that question. do what feels right to you. i play some 160bpm dnb tracks at 135bpm just cuz i like the sound of it.

Yeah I heard Kleinenberg spin X-ray at 130BPM at Ultra, it was pretty bad ass! Especially for a prog house dj!
