Abelton 9 Weak Snap to Grid

Did anyone notice that snap to grid is now very weak? I find it hard to snap when drawing MIDI notes in a clip, sometimes drawing outside the grid.

This is supposed to be an improvement. They decided to implement "smart snapping".
Problem is that there is no way to turn this off.

For the most part it works fine but for adjusting note ends, I hate it.

I think there is a way to turn it off with options.txt

I can't remember what it is, but seem to remember Angstrom being pretty vocal about it

well with the push thing I think they're actually taking a whole different view of "men are men" - if you record MIDI totally via Push then you're kind of on your own. There's almost no options for editing MIDI at all other than for drums.

Just updated yo 9.05 and weird things are happening when trying to drag clip edges in Arrangement view.
