So I have an LD8, which I am using in conjunction with SelectedTrackControl.

Many of the most useful commands on STC (mute track, solo track, etc) are unavailable on the LD8 because its default mode does not send the needed control codes.

So I hope it will be possible to do one of the following:

- edit the LD8 so that it sends the needed midi control codes to STC
- or edit the python script so that it responds differently to the codes the LD8 sends

I am assuming the first option is easier and more practical.

Is there any advice on how to proceed with this? Is it easy? Is it difficult? Is it worth the hassle?
