Logitech mouse Setpoint not working in Live

Post by j.brouwer » Mon Jul 22, 2013 7:44 pm

I'm trying to set up keystrokes to certain mouse buttons on a Logitech M705 I just bought today. Logitech has a program called Setpoint that allows you to do exactly that. I mapped the Delete key to one of the extra mouse buttons, and can delete highlighted text in a word document by clicking that button, for instance.

However, when I launch Ableton, this doesn't work :(
Setpoint allows you to create "application specific" button settings (buttons settings that only work in specified programs). I've tried using this for Ableton as well, but no luck.

All I want to do is be able to click my middle mouse button and delete an audio clip.... this doesn't seem like it should be so difficult.

Any thoughts?

Do you have multiple versions of Live installed? If you do settings for the one that you're not opening, it might not use them.
