ok - hoping someone here can help me out...
I LOVE using 2C Audio's Aether for reverbs - unfortunately there's an annoyance that has come along with doing so...
Always use it in session view...
- when I stop the project's playback, the "back to arrangement" button at the top always lights up red
- if I don't press the button and restart playback, any automation I've done for Aether isn't recognized, and it typically just plays all from whatever the last automated set point is (i.e. if I'm fading reverb up, it'll just play at maximum the whole playback if I don't press the "back to arrangement" button every time I restart playback)
this is getting really annoying. it doesn't happen with any other plugins. can't figure it out.
any ideas???
thanks

It's a known bug. They (2C Audio) promised me to fix it a year ago. They mentioned they would release the fix along with "the new product", which is B2. Alas, no fix yet!

Yeah - it's a known issue, shame as it's such a good reverb. I found using the VST rather than the AU fixed one issue I had, but still not perfect.
That said, the only thing I've ever found myself wanting to automate on a reverb is the mix, so it's very easy to just save a rack with Aether on on chain (set to 100% wet) and a second, empty chain. Then either just automating the chain volumes, or setting up a macro as a wet/dry control. You can just save this rack to your library and drop it in whenever you want to use the plugin

Please delete my message, it's too late and I made a mistake.
