Saving Automation Clips

Hi guys,

I've been working a lot more volume automation into my projects lately (into clips esp. using the Unliked envelopes feature) and I got curious about something, that I've actually wondered about before but never fully got to work correctly. That something is this. How would I go about saving empty automation clips (think automation templates) to be called up and used on any other clip I bring over from the browser? Is this even possible? How do you make it happen? Maybe you do not wish to redraw the same volume/pitch/filter/offset envelope time after time. Do you have a tried and true method of keep a catalog of automations somehow? Would you be willing to elaborate on how you do it? Thanks!
