force sampler in drum racks

is there a way to force drum racks to use sampler on drag and drop instead of simpler, i really hate to have to change them all manually to sampler just to set the enveloppe to trigger

You'll find exactly that in the manual subsection "Default Presets".

Rough recount:
- create an empty Sampler, adjust the parameters you want to set new defaults for
- drag this Sampler into your Live User Library: Defaults/Dropping Samples/On Drum Rack

Drum Rack pad defaults can also be saved via a [right-click](PC) / [CTRL-click](Mac) context menu option on a Drum Rack’s pad

i only have rename and delete if i right click on a pad

nice it worked, i knew i wasnt crazy and that i saw that option once
