I'm picturing a perfect world in which I can:
a)mport drum loops into Live (Lite version), time stretch and arrange them how I would like
b) use the ffx wrapper to open Drumagog (haven't purchased yet), convert the audio to midi files
c) Import the midi files into Pro Tools LE to trigger Drumkit From Hell samples and rerecord as audio.
does this sound like the most efficient way to accomplish this or am I adding steps? Basically I want to chop up and rearrange drum loops to make original beats and then use DFH to trigger original sounds and rerecord as audio.
I'm just learning Ableton now so not sure if I'm missing out on some helpful features that could save me some of the legwork described above. Maybe others have used different methods to accomplish the same thing?
Thanks
P
Am I making this too difficult?
