44 bar limit on looper???!!!

i have spent the last months programming Live for live looping. now i have run up against what seems to be a 44 bar limit for recording into the looper. Can this be true?? god i hope not or i am really screwed....

Just tried and it stopped at 48 bars at 120 bpm....

i think when your loop has more bars in it than some pop songs it's time to switch to recording in Arrange View.

ok 44 bars seems to be a little bit a weird number...
might be a general time limit rather than a bar counter...
or maybe its determined by the amount of Ram you've got..


...but why would you need loops longer than 44 bars?

I am doing the same painfull experience right now:
it looks more likely to be be a time limit because I tried with a slower tempo (I am recording something rubato so it doesn't matters) and it looks like the limit is still the same.

If anyone has a tip to record a loop longer than 2 mn that would be great, I am so depressed!

use an audio clip to record and loop long ass audio...
looper is meant for shorter phrases...
