999€ is out of the question for me, especially as I'm looking to get Push soonish (a 32 step-sequencer is something that Maschine can't touch especially since Push will soon have parameter lock as well!).
But it looks beautiful I have to give 'em that!
(I guess those screens make it so expensive).

The 2.0 up-date to the software though! That's a pretty decent deal for 99€ with drum synth, Prism, sound macros (finally!) multi-core, what looks like overlapping patterns in scenes.
Depending on if there are some enhancements to the sampler (more modulation, better filters), this might just mean that I will not try to sell my MKI to make some money for Push!
(Probably would not have sold for so much anymore anyway...)

If they throw in Traktor, and use that beautiful color display to show Traktor's waveforms, they might have a deal.

They should absolutely do that!

but won't... :-(

(Just allowing the display to integrate with an existing Traktor install would be suitable, as many already have Traktor, but they probably won't do that either...)

I think it would be nicer if they added an Maschine IOS-Version for Ipad, so you don't need no PC anymore.

Well, they'd probably have to include Traktor Le, but they'd sell tons of units because then Traktor users would want it too.

....even though they'd probably still be better off looking at their laptop screen haha

This price might seem high, but it is still cheaper than Akai's controller, and this is with color displays. Although Akai has a built in audio interface. This is a rough market!

It´s online

Beat These

i hate to say so but my Push now looks totally outdated :( as well as Live.

On the other hand you can use maschine as plug-in in Live and use the new Maschine Studio hardware on top of it 8)

Great times are comming

Have Fun!

I've been called a Maschine fanboy on this very forum, but: How so?!
I mean on those videos it's hard to tell what's happening at all, but I certainly don't get the vibe that either would be out-dated!

Yeah iam a fanboy, for technology.

Sorry gang, i had no intention to make this thread into a X VS Y thread.

I just had the same feeling when the info about Push was released, but the other way around.

Push and Live number one in my tool box.

Excuse my G.A.S (esp. OctNovDez G.A.S)

Oh, I totally get that :-)

But just for ONE example why I think Push is not obsolete: The 64 pads!
It gives you a 32 step sequencer (16 Maschine) PLUS the 16 button grid selection to choose which section of your clip is selected in the step sequencer PLUS immediate access on 16 more buttons to the sounds on that track! The step sequencing fluidity possible on Push is unparalleled in Maschine! AND you can play the 16 pads and step-sequence at the same time!
Playing with Push in the store (no I don't have it yet) gave me serious GAS and got me to start saving up. I see nothing in the new hardware of Maschine that could trigger the same effect in me. (certainly not for 1 000 €!)
Same for the software compared to Live: It's great and longed for by me (I will definitely by it!), but it's no rival to Live!

Absolutely!

Push is incredible good. Great fun and a solid investment + 9.1 is around the corner.
I don´t know if you had a chance to test 9.1 at your shop of trust, if not let me tell you it´s da bomb :)

Maschine Studio looks so 8) ( i mean just look at it it´s a design masterpiece (imho))
the price is the only thing that stops me to immediate buying it. It´s a lot of baksheesh.

Have Fun!

No they only had 9.06, but I just imagined the parameter lock and how cool it will be :-)
(I have experience with using parameter lock a lot! In Maschine, of course! ;-) )

It's certainly something I'd like to trade for my MK1. But 1 000€ ?! I'm just not rich enough for that :-(
(And of course I just tell myself, that it is not revolutionary enough... ;-) )
