Slicing folder is empty?

Post by wildjagd8 » Fri Oct 25, 2013 1:03 am

I'm trying to get to the "built-in-0-vel" preset in the User Library/Defaults/Slicing folder but it's completely empty and has none of the many presets I know should be there... :( I searched the contents of my hard drive and the presets are nowhere to be found in any folders. Where can I find them or how do I go about getting them back?

If your default/slicing folder is empty, try to look into Live 8, if its on your harddisk still. Otherwise you have to download live 9 again and install it, then you will get the presets again.

I don't think you need to download/reinstall at all. I have had these folders missing in the past in Live 8, if you repair the library through the preferences dialogue this usually sorts out the problem.
