Midi Overdub / Session Record turns off a lot

Hey guys,

I was teaching a lesson this week, and we were going over the difference between having Session Record armed or not (in using it like the old Overdub button).

I was flummoxed that I couldn't figure out how to keep that bugger on between pressing space bar. I feel like I used to be able to do this in L9, but perhaps I just really haven't done a lot of midi overdub style stuff recently.

I looked in the usual places for a preference, and couldn't find one. Thoughts?
