The only time you scare me is when a developer releases yet another vintage compressor emulator and you get vocal about it being completely redundant in a sea of vintage compressor emulators. It makes your pleasant and cool headed façade crack. There’s something dark in there.

I usually recommend getting the cellular version
I won't be getting a cellular version, even though TMobile now gives 200MB/month free data. It's just not worth another $130 to me (would rather spend that on increasing the internal storage). 95% of the time I'll be using it at home or somewhere with Wifi. For those other occasions, sitting in an airport or whatever, I have my iPhone.

I think I'll go with the 32GB version. (Yeah, I know, after people here say 16GB will be fine.) But if I get 32 I won't be wondering whether I'll run out of space if I record audio or if new music apps come out that take more space (i don't know, like something with a light sample library), and it won't be an issue if I want to rent a few movies for a trip.

I'm probably wasting $120 going from 16GB to 32GB, but whatever. I'm tired of thinking about it.

Gonna pick it up at the Apple Store on my way home tonight.

I support that decision.

I got the 128G drive and there’s some people who think that still isn’t enough.

call it insurance.

having too much is always better than not having enough... unless you're talking about crabs or scabies.

Re: you can never have enough.
This goes for the screen size in that thing as well (for music use). Don't get the Mini!

I actually hope they one day will release a 13" version. That would not only be awsome for audio production, but also for a lot of other professional apps as well!

Ok, question... If you're sitting on your couch messing with animoog (not at I've been doing that for the last 24 hours since I got this ipad), is your only option to use the iPad's headphone out?

Outputting via airplay to my airport express would be awesome, but the 2 second latency is unusable. Any other wireless solution?

Not wireless that I know. Something like the new traktor audio 2 is really small and I believe can now be powered from the iPad.

I wonder whether bluetooth is faster. It sounds like crap though.
